BiteMood Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BiteMood.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of the BiteMood mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the Services).
By downloading, accessing, or using BiteMood, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
2. About BiteMood
BiteMood is a meal discovery and decision-making application designed to help users discover meals, connect with partners or groups, receive personalized recommendations, and make dining decisions together.
BiteMood is intended for personal and non-commercial use only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use BiteMood.
If you are under the age of 18, you may only use BiteMood with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, BiteMood may create or maintain an anonymous user account associated with a unique identifier.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
You may not:
- Share your account with others
- Access another user's account
- Attempt to bypass authentication or security measures
- Use BiteMood for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Use of the Services
You may use BiteMood solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, or resell the Services
- Reverse engineer the application
- Interfere with servers, networks, or security systems
- Upload malicious software
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
- Misuse partner matching, invitation codes, or group features
6. Personalized Recommendations
BiteMood provides personalized meal recommendations based on user preferences, dietary selections, group interactions, and app activity.
Recommendations are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of recommendations
- Availability of suggested meals
- Suitability for allergies or dietary restrictions
- Nutritional accuracy
Users remain responsible for evaluating meal choices and dietary requirements.
7. Partner and Group Features
BiteMood allows users to connect with partners and groups.
Users are responsible for:
- Information shared within groups
- Invitation codes they distribute
- Group activities conducted through the Services
BiteMood is not responsible for interactions between users outside the Services.
8. Subscriptions and Premium Features
Certain features may require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are processed through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
Subscription management, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective platform. Subscription access may be managed through third-party subscription infrastructure such as Adapty. Premium access remains active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation. Prices, subscription plans, and premium features may change at any time.
9. Payments and Refunds
All purchases made through the Services are digital purchases.
Except where required by applicable law, purchases are non-refundable.
For subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly through the respective platform.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in BiteMood, including but not limited to:
- Software
- Design
- Branding
- Logos
- Visual assets
- Content
- Databases
remain the exclusive property of BiteMood and its licensors. These Terms do not grant ownership rights to users.
11. Service Availability
We strive to keep BiteMood available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time for:
- Maintenance
- Updates
- Security reasons
- Technical issues
- Business decisions
We shall not be liable for temporary interruptions or service outages.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BiteMood disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy of content
Use of the Services is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiteMood, its affiliates, directors, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Loss of profits
- Loss of data
- Service interruptions
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to BiteMood during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if:
- These Terms are violated
- Fraudulent activity is detected
- Abuse of the platform occurs
- Required by law
Users may stop using the Services at any time. Requests for account deletion may be submitted through our support channels.
15. Privacy
Your use of BiteMood is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, and protected.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time.
Updated versions will become effective upon publication.
Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Adana, Turkey.
